Thanksgiving Family Activity:
Pass the Talking Fork!

One of the most important things you and your family can do on Thanksgiving is take some time to reminisce about your shared memories. Try this conversation-starting activity after Thanksgiving dinner, and give kids and grandparents alike the chance to participate.
Here's another great Thanksgiving activity...
If you like the "Pass the Fork" idea, check out "Pass-Around Storytelling: The Shared Storytelling Game". My family really loves it. It's a deck of colorful cards, each with a storystarter. The instructions, rules and "Think Abouts" make it easy to tell original made-up stories together. My family has been able to share and laugh a lot when playing this storytelling game. Believe me, I never thought I could tell made-up stories before. But with Pass-Around Storytelling, you don't need to be especially creative or anything, because the storytelling is shared and you can just pass it on. Look for "Pass-Around Storytelling: The Shared Storytelling Game" on http://www.amazon.com
There's also the deck's website:
