You can also use dry pasta. Colored pasta can also make it educational like the colored paper can. You can also use decorative glass rocks as long as they don't get mistake for candy, pebbles, or even rice. Although the rice can be more messy. I like using different sizes or shapes of pasta, or different colored items and then having my son sort them into a muffin pan too. It helps him learn big, small, colors, and shapes. Just use your imagination and make it a little different each time.

Apparently, when making a comment you can't use parenthesis, forward or back slash, or more than one period after a sentence like you would to add etc. That makes commenting very frustrating.
