Newborn Rash -- Is It Baby Acne?

There are three common rashes that babies can have in the first few months of life. Find out when you should have a rash checked.

I mistook my baby's rashes to be acne, when it actually eczema. Do check with your baby's PD asap and get your child tested for allergy. It'd certainly save much distress from misdiagnosis and guesswork on what's the trigger. If you're looking for support, do feel free to sign up at EczemaBlues; There's also calendars and book designed just for eczema child, all free and inspired by eczema baby. Take care.
My 5 year old broke out in eczema when she was 4 weeks old. I took her to a naturopath who tested her for food intolerances. She came back as sugar intolerant. As I was breastfeeding I cut all sugar cane out of my diet and she cleared up within 5 days. My new 1 week old is also breaking out and I will be taking him to see the naturopath next week. Though intolerances are not as dangerous as allergies I would suggest you get them tested as well. It could save you a lot of expensive and unnecessary staroid creams!!!
