Dealing with Night Terrors

Night terrors tend to subside as your child gets older, without any medication. It's uncommon for night terrors to reoccur frequently or for long periods of time. Your son's pediatrician may suggest management options, if needed.
please help me my daughter has been getting night frights
my 6yr old daughter has been getting night frights it started when she was 2 she would wake up screaming pointing to the bottom of her bed screaming about a man this went on 4 over a yr on and off we have moved house n recently they terrors have been getting worse she wakes up screaming allthough she is still asleep she eaither sits bolt up right in bed just screaming uncontrably or she will be violent lashing out she crys 4 me but i am in the room trying to calm her down she has managed to get her self trapped behind her bunk beds has pulled down her curtains each eposide last roughly 5 min when she calms down and wakes up she never remembers any of this i haev been to speak to my doctor but he says that as it doesnt bother her and she does not remember anything then their is nothing to worry about but it pure petrfies me please help us
