Breastfeeding Moms Going Back to Work

Working moms can find information on ways to continue breast-feeding after going back to work.
simple breastfeeding at work
Breastfeeding at work is not this complicated. Who has time to wash and dry their pump after each use and who wants to put their breastmilk in the office fridge for others to see. I have been pumping at work for my baby for 10 weeks now. I simply bring my small (and quiet) manual breastpump with a couple storage bags to work each morning. I pump twice a day...10 and 2 for 20 min. Breastmilk is good at room temp for up to 8 hours and good in the fridge for up to 7 days and up to 6 months in the freezer! I store the bags of milk in my bag with a ice pack at my desk till i get home and then place in the refridgerator. I wash my pump each night. I would make sure you have an established milk supply before returning to work and that you are very familiar with the pump you are going to be using.
