The most important reason for a cell phone is the concern for a child's safety.Our world reached a level of astounding technological advancement and it is a challenge to use our technology wisely.There is not an hour, minute or perhaps seconds when someone is not using a cell phone throughout the world.However our children are being punished for the use of this technology within the school system. We do have a responsibility to instill the proper use of cell phones. However, can we achieved this goal if we as adults cannot be without a cell phone throughout any six to seven hour period of the day and expect our children to do so? We need to address the severity of the punishment and look at ways to positively instill the use of cell phones within the schools.Would it be unheard of to simply allot text time during lunch for cell phone use and prohibit the use of cell phones within the classroom.
