Some of these "rules" seem crazy too me. Overkill. My daughter is a very accomplished artist with a degree in studio art. I feel she gained her interest in art with our encouragement while she was growing up. By framing her drawings and paintings and putting them on the refrigerator. I agree with some of them. That we shouldn't teach them to do it the way we would or the "right" way, but come on! I will continue to encourage my grandchildren when they bring me their paintings. I will frame them and hang them on the mantle. Don't rob us of sitting down to color with our children and grandchildren. I will not "ban" the coloring books!
