Our daughter has been fighting depression for many years BUT we have only been active as parents beyond a "normal teen stage" since Nov.2007 when she tried to end her life with tylenol. She was 14 1/2. I decided to look up what other parents are going through or have gone through because last night she sounded like she could really just give up again. She has a wonderful Psychiatrist and counselor, is on medication, has a supportive school and yet we still are trying to get her through each day. I feel so helpless because I know I cannot take away this place she is in and I fear that like your son she could just be gone one day and I have no control over that.
