For yourself, just planning activities and getting out there on dates is key. I found this hard at first -- where would I go? With whom? All my married friends don't go out very often at night. I ended up going to a mature singles site and was stunned to find how many other recently-divorced singles were in the same boat as me -- and in my same zip code! Dating online may have had a stigma years ago, but I think that's gone. I'm proud to say I recommend it. One thing though: a previous poster talked about having their children help them pick dates -- I don't do this. You don't want your kids getting attached to someone's photograph -- to the idea of someone -- and then have that sway your own judgment about a prospective mate.
