I didn't even know this was possible. Really?!
Hi I'm Jillian and so very glad I came across this site. My husband of 8 years and I are now looking into divorce. We are not bitter, have no children, no property etc..We just want out. We have nothing in common, nothing that attracts one to the other. I honestly don't know what happened. We made a huge mistake and dealt with it for 8 years. No more, it's time to move on. I just told him about that site you mentioned http://www.divorce4her.com/testimonies.html. I've decided I will file and he will sign when he's served. I can't believe this is really coming through. We've been miserable for much too long. Gladly we both agree so it's not going to be as difficult. We'll still be great friends just not "legally" married. Thanks for your eye opener. Jill

Great Way to go!
Shell I sure do agree. It's refreshing to see a post where someone is open minded and know that there are other options when it comes to divorcing out there. I am recently divorced and did do it the no lawyer way. I didn't believe it would work prior to speaking with others close to me it had worked for. I just thought my situation would be different. Glad to say it wasn't. I am tremendously happy I am a divorced mom of 2 and adopting a 3rd. Life has taken a huge turn in the right direction for me. Thanks for putting it out there.

No Lawyer Route
Thank you for your post, but I have decided that trying to do my divorce with a lawyer would not save me time and money. I've been researching divorces and how to get one for a few weeks after my husband decided he wants to call it quits. The price of a lawyer to help you with paperwork is astronomical! I then saw another post on here from someone that mentioned doing your divorce yourself. So I began searching and found a company (divorce4her) that will do the paperwork for me (I'm not to good at deciphering legal jargon) then all I'll do is print, notarize, sign and file. I won't even need to see my spouse as he's recently relocated to a neighboring state. Thanks for the advice but everyone, research is key because no one will tell you, there are other alternatives out there. Shell
