Are there any books available for children 4-12 on this subject, the father leaving them? Also, are there books for parents with more suggestions about helping the child?

Thank you for your advice. I had the same situation with the mom but i really intend to hide everything to my only son as the "Truth hurts".

The father of my son had left us when he was 6 years old. From then on, he never visited his son until now. Well, the only good thing is he is giving a financial support and he answers for the 100% education of my son. But as a mother, its not money at all that matters, its his presence to see and take care of his son. Both of us are officers of a good company but as a mother and a career woman, i was determined to raised him without his father. God knows that I've done everything to approach him to reach out his son .........for several times but nothing happened. Until one day, i pity so much my son and myself. I lift everything to the Lord and told Him I surrendered everything to him. That gave me peace of my soul.

It was so sad that some people do not have such conscience.
