I am new to potty training puppy's and I must admit I am frustrated to say the least. I love my puppy and wouldn't give her up for the world but, I don't want my house trashed in the process! To make matters worse, I even have my place listed for sale so I really have to get a handle on this. I work long hrs and I am concerned about doing what is right for her. I found your article very helpful and want to say from the bottom of my heart, "thank you." You have confirmed things that I have aready suspected but wasn't sure about. People will give you advice but much of it sounds cruel or just not right. I have piece of mind now and a guide in which to follow. Thanks again!

Hi, I just got a min-pin from the pet shop just yesterday. Her name is Dekoda and she is already 4 months old next weekend. My question is, will that effect how fast she will learn how to potty outside? and what would be the best way to train her to use the doggy door?
