I sit here incredulous that the advice given by you is not to worry about computer training for years to come. This is the mindset of the education system in place which is responsible for the fact that our children are so far behind other countries in education because we don't provide the necessary encouragement to further themselves or the training to do so. Children can learn anything you teach them. How dare you suggest that they aren't ready to learn. What do you know about what they are able to learn? Show me YOUR limited credentials!!! I say, give these kids computers and let THEM decide what they are ready to comprehend. All it takes is a parent or significant other person in their lives to take the time to see what they CAN do with it. You keep that mindset, people of 'FAMILY EDUCATION' and you will proliferate the sub-standard status of the children of the United States compared to other countries.
