The Terrible Twos: A Part of Emotional Development

Learn what you can do to help your toddler manage her emotions.

I am glad I read this because I have been telling my son things like "that didn't hurt". It seemed to me like he was over reacting, he didn't use to cry so easily, but he is two. I thought terrible two came from the fact that they get in to every thing and yell "no" at you for no reason. I feel bad that I didn't notice or know what this stage was actually about. I hope I didn't in some way hurt his emotional development by ignoring fits and telling him he wasn't feeling a certain way. As long as I start now right?
