The past month (almost 4 weeks now) I have cut my meals down to the size of my fist. I've been eating three meals a day (sometimes four) and trying to eat only healthy foods. It was kind of hard at first, but it's almost second nature to me now! It's amazing how satisfied I feel on that portion. In fact, when I do eat more than my fist I feel sick, almost like I had eaten a whole pizza or something! I am proud to say that I have lost 20 pounds so far!! It really makes you think before you put that piece of cake, chips, or whatever in your mouth. If you only have a fist-worth of food to ingest, you start going for the nutrient-rich foods! It's been very liberating and I am looking forward to losing another 20 pounds and finally be at a healthy weight!
