Six-Year-Old Complains of Thigh Pain
Thigh pain is an unusual complaint for a six-year-old. A good physical exam can usually localize where the problem is coming from, although sometimes X-rays and/or laboratory studies are needed.

My son is 7 yrs old.He started complaining about upper thigh pain to his right leg 2 days ago.The first night the pain woke him up.In the morning he cryed in pain when he tryed to get out of bed.Wasn't too mobile throughout that day.Day 2 seemed alittle better. He has no other symptoms.Fever, vomiting, rashes or swelling. What could it be and how long should i wait before taking him to the doc.?

Just extremely curious to know what the diagnosis of this pain was. Similar experience with my son and just want to compare notes. Thank you for your time!

Can you tell me what came from this issue with your dtr?
We have the exact same issue, only from sitting to standing.
