Are You Married to Your Work or to Your Spouse?

If you or your spouse is more involved with work than with your relationship, this article describes how to reorder priorities.
Re: Are You Married to Your Work or to Your Spouse?
It is extremely hard to balance work and your marriage. I agree with the schedule idea. That seems to be the only way I can keep my work at home life and my marriage and motherhood run smoothly. I think especially when you first start out, make a schedule for yourself. So you can get into the habit from the very beginning. Family time is family time and work time is work time. I do tend to get so involved in my work and meeting deadlines that I put off a lot of special time with my family. I have gotten better but I have to know in my mind, its time to stop. Work won't keep you warm at night, work won't love you and call you mommy, work won't be there when times get rough. Don't slack off at work because you need your job, most important, don't slack off on your family, you need them and they need you. Schedule your time wisely. Lesley

Can't Buy you love
Be very careful when juggling an at home job and your family. Some can tend to feel ignored and not wanted and that is sooo far from the truth in moms book. We sometimes become soo engulfed in all that we do on a daily basis that it's easy to push people away. Schedule your time, make sure you have specific office hours and specific family time. This will do wonders. Maddy
