Kids and money
Kids Money
I never let my kids turn me into their personal ATM machine or banker when we are shopping. If they want something, they must use their own money to buy it. If they forgot their money, my kids know that they will have to wait until they have their own money to purchase the item. I also play money games with my kids to familiarize them with other financial concepts. I see very few posts on this important point—games reflect and teach life concepts. The best games for teaching money to kids is fastmoney at www.thefunmoneygame.com or monopoly. FastMoney, unlike monopoly, won’t take an entire day to play!
