Verbally Abusive Teachers

There are both federal and state laws that forbid teachers from harassing, teasing, and otherwise verbally or physically abusing kids.

My daughter was also verbally abused by her teacher. You mentioned that there are both state and federal laws against it. Where do I find those laws?

my daughter had to change school because of verbal abuse now that she is in another school her teacher is both verbally and physically abuseing her and other ciass mates

My daughter was called "dumb" by her teacher today. Where are those laws? I am livid and I want to file a lawsuit asap. This is the last straw of a string of abuses we have witnessed by this school district but that just takes the cake, enough is enough, where are the laws that protect our children from teacher abuse?

My daughter turns 40 this year. When she was a little girl, her teacher terrorized her.

I had no idea of the suffering my child was enduring. She was a quiet and loving child. It was years later, when she was in her thirties, that she told us about it, weeping and trembling as she spoke.

Parents, BE AWARE of what is going on at school. Ask questions. Spy if you must. A lifetime of low self esteem can be avoided.

Even though it's not admissable in a court of Law, I URGE parents to include one of those little stick Digital Voice Recorders in your child's backpack before you send them off to Daycare or School. Sony makes a great one for about $29.00 that has a long recording time, as well as good clarity. Give it some time; you will be AMAZED at what you hear when no-one thinks anyone is listening. Some children start to become unusually quiet and can even begin wetting the bed, among other symptoms of verbally induced stress...
shutup. do you know what youre talking about?
