My daughter attends the first grade and the teacher uses the very same method of humiliation. The teacher contends that she does not humiliate and would never do this to a child. On the other hand she sent a letter stating that her action made our "poor" daughter cry , but she will get over it. My daughter also cried when she arrived home from school hours later.

Upon further checking on the circumstance I found it was Constitution week and the children were asked to paint American Symbols. My daughter painted the American Flag...it was this single paper with no signature that was held up in front of the class and made an example of as it was torn into pieces.

The Teacher became nothing less than an adult bully with this action.Today is the first day back to school since the event. My wife is meeting the teacher in regards right now.
