I'm glad you included catch-and-release as a way to remove spiders, because I love spiders and find them fascinating to observe. I welcome almost all species that come into my house, with the exception of brown recluse types (I've never seen a black widow inside an occupied dwelling). I get angry with anybody who kills a spider in my house or yard. Despite almost always having spiders in my house, I've never been bitten. I've also had very few roaches, probably because of my spiders.
