Socializing Your Kid Without Preschool
Parents whose kids don't attend preschool can find plenty of opportunities for socializing. Afterall, preschool is a relatively new idea and kids were very well socialized before the advent of preschool. The best way for kids to socialize is in a playgroup. They can have kids of different ages together and can learn from one another. They can have unstructured playtime under parental supervision. Other ways for socializing might include going to storytime or attending a class such as an art class. Preschool sports can provide an excellent way for kids to develop teamwork and good sportsmanship. Good preschool sports include soccer, T-ball or gymnastics.
