This article can help you add structure to your day, if you decide to stay home and care for your baby.
Re: Staying at Home: It's Not All About Cooking and Cleaning
I totally agree. I loved that part of staying at home. Spending those first few weeks with your new baby. Unfortunately, some of us don't have that luxury as my cousin didn't. I know what she went through has made her stronger but she really had it hard. She also lost someone, her husband of 8 years the week b4 she had her twins. I was miles away and so was she from everyone else. But she now very successful at home worker. I too work from home and love it. Don't ever give up. P.S By the way, my sister applied for the job with document-do-it-yourself-service.com and she got an interview scheduled!! So exciting. I hope I hear something soon. Lesley

I do wish I had that time to bond with my kids when they were first born. I was a single mom and it wasn't an easy thing. I lost both my parents years before I had my twins. Their father never wanted anything to do with them. It was all me. It was the hardest thing to do while at home with two crying babies and trying to keep a steady income AND a clean home. Whew!! Those who can, make it work. It's so worth it. Now that my kids are older, I can appreciate those days. They both grew up around mommy working at home so got it down packed. They help with the chores cuz they know, moms working but she at home with us,lol. Thanks for that link Maddy. I applied and so did my 2 cousins. Wish me luck! Sandy

Form that bond
After I had my kids, I always took about a month for me and baby. We just bond and get to know each other on the outside. I think all the cooking and cleaning should be left to someone else unless there is no one else. I was oh so lucky to have my mom for 2 weeks and my hubbys mom for 2 weeks. A full month of help. After that time, it's back to work for mommy. Luckily I can still peep in at them on my breaks, lol Only 2 steps away in the other room. The beauty of working at home with your babies. LOL Maddy
