Hi there,
Can you please send me the link or the references to this information? I am doing an assignment for school on the accessibility of playgrounds and I am having a hard time finding information on this subject. Thank you.

I think that it is very important that the playgrounds should be safe for the children. It helps them grow when they feel there able to do things and if it's dangerous or not accessible to them it makes them feel bad. That why I am a big pro for RUBBER MULCH! My little girl used to be so scared to climb the monkey bars because some friends broke their arms when they fell. But when I took her to a park that had rubber mulch and showed her how soft it was and you can't get hurt when you fall, she started climbing away! She loved it she thanked me for letting her get over her fear! I then bought Rubber Mulch for my yard and was really happy with the service http://www.rubberecycle.com/

Unfortunately, rubber mulch is not accessible by wheelchair! See these playgrounds for REAL accessibility.
