Anytime you see a recommendation to see a specialist, you can substitute the words "family doctor" -obviously we do refer to specialists but we are there for ouR patients - for either sex, any age, any sort of problem. We are trained in gynecology and pediatrics. We can see kids from birth to adulthood which makes the transition to gynecological exams possibly easier since the patient has been seeing us in the practice and since there is a good possibility that the patient's parents and siblings are patients in the same practice.
