Our son is not allowed to drive with other High School kids. He moans a bit about it, but I have the impression that he understands the issue. Especially since 1 teen (passenger) from our community died and the driver was severely injured. I also stressed the issue that our permission to start driving depends on how much we can trust him. I know that we cannot be sure, what he does, but I have the feeling that he is reasonable enough to stick to our rule.
