Working Moms and Kids

Believe it or not, working moms spend more quality time with their kids than the housewives of the '60s and '70s. Read how.
Re: Working Moms and Kids
I can see how this could be difficult. I'm going to be a new mom in a few months and have been searching for work at home jobs. I would love to be able to stay at home after I have my baby. My big sister has dibbled and dabbled a bit in work at home but never really found anything worth the time. Sandra, I've decided to apply to the link you sent and also to pass it along to my sister in case interested. Great info and thanks a million for the idea! Jill

Re: Working Moms and Kids
That's such a difficult task when working from home but it is definitely a MUST. I agree 100%. My kids are no teenagers, but when they were a bit younger, it was very hard for me to care for them AND make a living. Where there's a will there's a way and I did it! I am now still working at home but wish I had this support back then. Thanks again and hey, Sandy, I applied to that job link for document-do-it-yourself-service.com. Can't wait. Andrea

I can honestly say if you don't plan carefully, you can end up not spending enough time with your kids and family. And that can pose a real problem. I have been careful enough to set out my schedule and stick to it. That's the hard part. Not that you don't want to spend time with your family, it's just you get attached to meeting deadlines or working because u feel u HAVE to to make ends meet. You HAVE to but, you also HAVE to make time for the fam. Sandy
