Hi I'm new to all this .. I have a son he is 12 1/2 yrs old. I have been fighting with the schools since he was in the 3rd grade. He has sever adhd/odd and is in need of having an IEP under other health impairment but they keep refusing him. I've also asked them to hold him back in grades when he hasn't passed yet they refuse he's even asked to be held back and there still refusing. My son is falling thru the cracks and I fear if they don't do something fast and soon he isn't going to be all he can be. All he's learned so far is if you fail you succeed and that is so not right. I don't know what else to do no one is listening no one is willing to help me or my son. I'm stilling looking for a loop hole with the schools but unless they want you to sue them you can't do [filtered word] to them so they can not give you an education and get away with it.Please I don't know what else to do or where to turn the law isn't on his side where it should be nor are the schools.
