While I commend you in helping your child to overcome learning disabilities, not all children can make that type of progress. I work with adults with special needs, people with learning disabilities, and I think people should not expect their children to make the progress your child has made. You also need to be aware that some people will live with learning disabilities all of their lives, and you have to help them progress as much as they can. You also have to work with the limits they have. Some people progress further than others. But although it does not always have ending such as yours, that does not mean they do not lead fulfilling lives. Some people have to learn to live with their learning disabilities.
