I don't agree with the fact that every time a child has problems at school the first reaction of the school system is "you need to see if he has ADD or ADHD." Why can't people say well lets look at what the teacher is doing also. I also feel that teachers have their favorites and if your son wasn't one of her favorites then she might be doing things that don't make him happy in the classroom. I think that the first solution that should be is to make sure that everything is being done in the classroom the way it should be and make sure the teacher doesn't have a problem with your son because if the teacher has a problem with your son then that could be his bad behavior. I am just saying that the solution if a child is misbehaving is to right away say he has ADD or ADHD there might be other issues that are surrounding him that is making him act up the way he is. I would question the school about the teacher first of all before anybody tells you your child has ADD or ADHD.
