I am 42,and when I was just in kindergarten my parent sstarted me on Ritalin,and I remained on it until the end of 9th grade. I have had many problems throughout my life,one being a drug addict,I remember the Dr. taking the pills away from me and all of a sudden I was completely lost,I started looking for other ways to "self medicate" because that is all me or my brain knew. Through out my life I had alot of different diagnosis,everything from,manic depression-depression,when all it was was and imbalace in my hormone,and now at 42 I have finally figures it out. I have been truly blessed to be able to figure this out but I feel for all the individuals out there that have absolutally no clue. My husband and I now work with many drug addicts and a huge majority of them have been on drugs like ritalin when in early dhilhood. I just wanted to give some advise and I truly hope this helps somebody........Denise
