OLSAT and Gifted Programs

The Otis-Lennon School Ability Test (OLSAT) measures abstract thinking and reasoning ability in students between the ages of 5 and 18.
OLSAT and Gifted Programs
The OLSAT exam is scaled to age (birthdays) in 3 month (quarterly) segments. Your child will only be compared to other children in the population within the same 3 month (birthday) band as your child. Most gifted and talented school programs are set up for the top 3% of scores for the age group. The OLSAT exam at your child's age is highly leveraged in following directions and listening skills. The exam is given to children as young as 4 years old in the New York City public school system.
