I contacted Georgia Department of Education armed with the info from the Book of Answers, listing Georgia as one of the 24 states to allow athletic participation by Linda Dobson,but was told they do not allow home school children to participate in sports.Is there a particular law that I could quote to persuade someone to allow my son to swim on the local high school swim team?

I'm sorry I don't know the exact law to quote but I know here in PA we are allowed to participate in high school sports.

How about show them your school tax bill? You pay school taxes and get nothing from them so allowing your child to participate is the least they can do?!
