I think this article is great advice for any parent sending their first child to kindergarden. I would also like to add a comment for tamara67. Although I lack experience in this area, my input is that every child is different. It sounds like your youngest is very social, and with older brothers and/or sisters, he gets to see the fun in going to school. As a parent it is up tthat their child could say their ABC's at 1 1/2 and other parents say that their child could turn a swing set into a pirate ship. Don't stress, it will be fine in the long run!
