I feel the same way about my daughter's school. I feel there is too much focus on the academics rather than developing the entire child. There seems to be little hands-on and alot of sitting with paper work. The pressure placed on schools to boost MCAS results is coming at a price to the children, and it seems to be starting as early as kindergarten. It breaks my heart that my daughter is already saying that she doesn't like school and she's only in grade K! I'm considering changing schools / programs very soon.
