This is the time they really need all that you have taught them at home to sink in and actually work. They should be using polite manners and sharing by now. Interaction with other kids will reinforce all of this. But the preschool must be a good one. The one my daughter is in has Eight Expectations. The whole school follows this so they are all on the same page when other class students pass in the hall or are at the gym etc. 1) We will value one another as unique and special individuals. 2) We will not laugh or make fun of another person's mistakes nor use sarcasm or putdowns. 3) We will use good manners, saying Please, Thank You, and Excuse me and allow others to go first. 4) We will cheer others to success. 5) We will help one another whenever possible. 6) We will recognize every effort and applaud it. 7) We will encourage each other to do our best. 8)We will practice the virtuous living using the Life Principles.
